She was predeceased by: her brother Edward Carpenter. She is survived by: her significant other Sharyn Keenan; her son Steven Taylor; her brother Gary Karnauck; her aunt Gloria Kershner; and her cousin Brenda Hicks. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in the form of dog food to benefit local animals.
