He was predeceased by: his parents, Simhadri Aleti and Lakshmamma Aleti. He is survived by: his wife Lakshmi Aleti; his children, Padma Aleti (Chakravarthy Doddi), Dr. Swati Johnson (Jeevan) and Sasank Aleti (Michelle Reyes); and his grandchildren, Sai, Avinash, Nandini, Aasha, Leela, Shaalini, Mira, Lina and Kiran.
