It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Pearson (Asbury Park, New Jersey), born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on February 15, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Williams and Amy Williams; her siblings, Willie C. Williams, Aretha Chambers and Wilhelmena Curry; her husband Samuel David Pearson, Sr.; her son Samuel David Pearson, Jr.; and her close friend Tommie Linder.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gwendolyn Pearson, Shanda Pearson and Colleen Rushing; her grandchildren, Shannon Pearson, Samantha Bunting, Aubri Rushing, David Pearson, Dashon Pearson, Kiari (Emberle Pearson, Samuel), Matthew and Thomas Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Javione, Davionne, Yamani, Mia and Karter Pearson. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
