She was predeceased by: her parents, Nora Tahan of Asbury Park and Tofic Tahan of Union City, NJ; her husband Frank Marano; and her brother Essad Tahan of Claremont, CA.. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Nadel of Asbury Park and Laura Mastorio (Frank) of Morganville; her sister Louise Palumbo (Don) of Lake Park, FL; her grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren Nadel, Joseph Sigmund, Rachael Sollazzo (Thomas) and Andrew Sigmund; and her sisters-in-law, Marion Tahan of Claremont, CA and Roseann Marano of Tinton Falls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fiore-Buckley Funeral Home (236 Monmouth Rd, Oakhurst, NJ 07755). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (1201 Asbury Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712). A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the St. Anne's Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
In lieu of flowers, we ask you send donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Hillsdale College.
