She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Ashby and Helen R. Ashby. She is survived by: her sister MaryAnne Ashby-Dougherty of Neptune; her nieces, Tracy Whitney of Neptune and Mercedes McElrath of Tinton Fall; her nephew Dr. James H. Whitney III; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jada Whitney of Piscataway, Phoenix Hexstall of Tinton Falls, James H. Whitney IV of Piscataway and Zaire McKellar of Tinton Falls.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ely Funeral Home (3316 NJ-33, Neptune City, NJ 07753). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
