We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2018, at the age of 75, Gladys L. Ricks (Asbury Park, New Jersey), born in Sussex, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Whitney and Florence Whitney; her sister Mary Ricks; and her son James Ricks. She is survived by: her siblings, Gracie Gray of Wavely and Frank Whitney of Boston; her children, Angela Whitney Whitfield of Woodbridge, Regina Buffaloe (Grady) of Long Branch, Tina Heckstall and Eugene Ricks Jr.; her granddaughters, LaVaughn Ricks, Zhane Buffaloe and Avonna Whitfield; and her great grandchildren, Karvon Ricks, Kyhmer, Kha and Howard. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
