With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Palmer (Asbury Park, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward James and Ada Byrd Tyler; and her sister Lucille Allen (Frederick Douglas Palmer). She is survived by: her husband Frederick; her daughter Linda Kornegay (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Kamal Kornegay (Dimana) and Suraya Kornegay; her great grandchildren, Kalina and Liana Kornegay; her niece Debi Allen; and her cousins, Marion Ragland and Dee Dee Strohman. She is also survived by cousins, neighbors, and friends.
