She is survived by: her husband John Wesley Shannon Jr.; her children, Marine and Lance Corporal Sean Wesley of Yuma; her father-in-law John Sr.; her brother-in-law Craig; her siblings, Janice, Patricia, Lamont Brinson, Craig Brinson, Ronald and Keith Brinson; her aunts, Roslyn of Atlanta, Barbara of Atlanta and Juanita of Atlanta; her godchildren, Drew Johnson, Kevin Bridges, Tyshon Brinson, Amani and Saniyah Hughes; and her friends, Dedra Allen, JoAnn McNair, Genise Hughes and Sylvia Coleman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
