She was predeceased by: her parents, Armando Luis Tamargo and Dora Villamil Tamargo (Bencosme); and her sister Ida Tamargo Bilbow. She is survived by: her husband Wilbur "Bill" Sowder Jr.; her son Matthew Kyle Sowder; and her brother Armando Tamargo.
