He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Merrill McKown and Dorothy Maynard McKown; his former wife Barbara Sue McKown; and his son Steven W. McKown. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McKown; his children, Douglas McKown and Deborah Seguine (Mark); his grandchildren, Matthew Douglas McKown, Steven Seguine (Lauren) and Emily Seguine; and his sister-in-law Susan Ellner.
