He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tompkins and Louise Tompkins (Anderson); and his sisters, Marcia Sebulsky, Judy Britten and Betty Biggs.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Tompkins (Clark); his children, Raymond Tompkins, III (Leticia) of Barnegat, NJ and Shelley Reevie (Douglas) of Madison, NC.; his grandchildren, Daniel Reevie, Melissa Cruz, Edward Reevie, Shaun Reevie, Britanni Tompkins and Jake Tompkins; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor Maney, Jonathan Reevie, Amellia Cruz and Natalie Reevie.
