He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Colonna (Dobis) and Dominick Colonna; his children, Joan Edmonson Colonna and Steven Colonna; his wife Evelyn Sommer Colonna; and his siblings, Louis, Frank, Dominick Colonna, Elizabeth Colonna Bartlett and Julia Colonna Medigovich.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Joan Wall, Cathy Laura Younis and Joseph Gary Colonna; his children-in-law, Gerald Joseph Wall and Lisa Occhifinto Colonna; his grandson Jeremy Joseph Wall; his granddaughter-in-law Lindsay Michelotti Wall; his granddaughter Samantha Stoviak; his grandson-in-law Tyler Stoviak; his great grandchildren, Calliope Susan Wall and Oscar Colonna Wall; his sister Francis Spitz (Bill); his stepgranddaughter Joelene Lester; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Brixey and Harper Bates.
