He is survived by: his wife Maria Fatima Pereira; his child Marlo Tomas Dantas; his sisters, Adelia Dantas Rocha, Dora Dias Roxo and Dorinda Mattoso Maia; and his grandson Noah Tomas Dantas. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
