He was predeceased by: his parents, Rae Kass and Samuel Kass; his wife Ardelle; and his sister Diane. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Melissa, Lindsay, Sydney, Olivia and Alexa; his children, David and Lisa; his son-in-law Jay; his sister Honorah (Honey); and his friend Denise.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
