She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Evans and Elva Evans (Dunn). She is survived by: her husband Merwin Hitchner; her children, Kathy Hitchner, Kevin Hitchner and Michael Hitchner (Janeen); her grandchildren, Sara Wilson (Dustin) and Allison Evans (Ben); her brother Leonard (Judi Evans); her sister-in-law Lois Hitchner; and her nieces and nephews, Leonard Evans, Jr., Elaine LeCates (Randy), Heather Morrissey (John), Lee Hitchner (Karen), Larry Hitchner (Nicole) and Les Hitchner. She is also survived by several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made in Jeanette's memory to the Pittsgrove Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 368 Daretown Rd., Elmer, NJ 08318.
