With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Schmidt of Alloway, New Jersey, born in Stamford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024. As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William G. Schmidt and Harriet Phoebe Schmidt (Hurley); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Adele Schmidt (Adkins); his children, Aaron Schmidt (Jennifer) and Rebecca Perkins (Dan); his grandchildren, Elphaba, Harlow, Joey David, Abel and Brodie Schmidt; and his brothers, John Schmidt (Judith), Steve Schmidt and Tim Schmidt (Debra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
