He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gower and Edith Gower; and his son Walter G. Gower Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Gower (Conrad); his daughters, Susan L. Gower and Sandy E. Gower-Weatherbee; his grandchildren, Kelly Gunther, Taylor Gower, Paige and Ciara Weatherbee; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Brett Gunther, Avery and Gabe Gower.
