He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Burkert and Louise Miller Tomacik; and his father-in-law Martin T. Monroe. He is survived by: his wife Terry Burkert; his stepmother Kathy Burkert; his stepbrothers, David, Daniel and Thomas Walters; his mother-in-law Josephine Monroe; his brothers-in-law, Patrick, Michael (Carol) and Robert Monroe; his niece Shannon Monroe Walton; and his close friends, Jay, Norma Davidson, Joann, Tommy Wyckoff and Jim Howell. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Social distancing must be observed, and face coverings must be worn at the funeral home and cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Hope Fire Company, 82 Rt. 526, Allentown, NJ 08501 Please be aware that there is limited occupancy in the funeral home.
