He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ward and Sadie Ward; his daughter Karen Canale; and his brothers, Jack and Don Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Ward; his grandchildren, Channon Knapp, Kyle Knapp (Sophia), Jena Majoros (Pat) and Jae Canale; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Mia, Kayleb, Lochlan and Willa; his sister Jane Claypool; and his daughters, Carol Popham (Bryson) and JoAnne Kelly (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
