She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Smith and Martha Potter Smith; and her sister Margaret "Peggy" Giddings. She is survived by: her husband Earle A. Gale (NJ); her daughter Wendy; her son-in-law Wade Hale; her son Josh; and her daughter-in-law Erin Gale.
