He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gartland and Lillian Gartland; and his brother Robert Gartland. He is survived by: his son Justin Gartland (Jill); his grandsons, Jack and Joey; and his siblings-in-law, Owen and Nancy Briggs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
