He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Sr. and Elizabeth H. Symons (Gibbs); and his brother Lynwood Symons. He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Parziale; his son-in-law Mark Parziale of Robbinsville; his grandsons, Ron Parziale and Andrew Parziale; his brothers, Kenneth C. Symons (Lynn) and Dennis N. Symons (Jenny); his nieces, Lila and Crystal; and his nephew Dennis Jr.. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
