It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Keane of Allendale, New Jersey, born in Long Island City, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 111, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughes and Mary Hughes; her husband Peter Leo Keane; and her sisters, Mary Theresa "Terry" McCullough and Cecilia K. Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Keane Vogel (Steven) of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Peter Kevin Keane of Delray Beach, FL.; and her grandchildren, Erin Keane Devine (James), Kevin Keane Vogel, Devon Keane Firestone (Alexander), Michael Ross Keane (Lai), Nicole Collins Keane, Brett Leo Devine, Bryce Kenneth Devine, Brooke Taylor Devine, Brynn Harper Devine, Reagan Quinn Firestone and Rowan Keane Firestone. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the National Shrine of Saint Jude, Chicago, IL or Church of the Guardian Angel, Allendale, NJ.
