He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen; his sons, Richard and Robert B.; and his son-in-law Stephen Garrand. He is survived by: his children, Carol McCormick (Kevin) of Guilford, CT, Joan Garrand of Waldwick, Donald Paterson (Jeanne) of Seattle, WA and Jeffrey Paterson (Ewa) of Rutherford; and his grandchildren, Drew McCormick, Devon McCormick, Jack McCormick, Allie McCormick, Jordan McCormick, Christopher Garrand, Sean Paterson, Kaitlyn Paterson, Georgia Paterson and Grace Paterson.
