We bid farewell to Nancy Faro of Allendale, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Nancy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nancy. Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Picolla and Angelina Rando; her husband George Faro; and her sisters, Philomena Picolla and Josephine Coppo.
She is survived by: her children, Ida Faro-Tetro (Patrick Tetro) of Allendale, George Faro (Maria Faro) of Clark and Robert Faro (Elizabeth Faro) of Manchester; and her granddaughters, Jessica Tetro, Cristina Mulligan (Bryan Mulligan) and Alexandra Faro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Madonna Cemetery (Fort Lee, NJ 07024). An entombment was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the same location.
