He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Larry" Nelson and Helen Julia Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Margo E. Nelson; his children, Cheryl McCloskey of Castine, Rick of Oradell, N. J. and Jon of Independence, N. J.; and his brothers, Gary of Sorrento and Lance of Point Pleasant, N. J..
