He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Fishman and Goldie Fishman. He is survived by: his sister Sherry Fishman; his nephew Danny Onderchain; his brother Mark Fishman (Jenny); his friend Drew; his wife Michele Panzera (Mike); and also Mengyu.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Parsels Funeral Home (324 New Jersey Ave, Absecon, NJ 08201). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rodef Sholom Cemetery (6691 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234).

“Drew and I lived and were friends on Gladstone Avenue in Margate. I remember him as ever-friendly and possessing one of the greatest work ethics I’d ever seen. He had to be one of the most reliable paperboys the Atlantic City Press ever had. Drew was also the best salesman, even in our youth. When he was given an award at Granville Avenue School for raffle selling, I believe it was Mr. Needham, the principal, who said to the school audience “the only man who could sell ice cubes in Alaska””
