He was predeceased by: his parents, Veronica B. Hannigan and Thomas J. Hannigan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Lista; his daughter-in-law Kate; his son Thomas W. Hannigan (Kate M. McIntyre); his grandson Patrick M. Hannigan; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Hall and John Hall; and his niece Kim Hall.
