She is survived by: her siblings, John Bensel Sr. (Sue) and Marian Tozer; her niece Kathleen Bensel; her nephews, John Bensel Jr. (Jacki) and Dale Tozer; her great-niece Caitlin; and her great-nephew Joshua.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St Jude's or Catholic Relief Services.
