He was predeceased by: his son Douglas Austin of Rochester; his brother Robert Austin; and his parents, Stanley Frederick Austin and Mildred May Austin (Ettinger) of Needham. He is survived by: his wife Linda Austin (Spraker); his daughter Valerie Giovinazzo (Jorge Giovinazzo); his granddaughters, Gabrielle Giovinazzo of North Carolina and Angela Giovinazzo of North Carolina; his sister-in-law Mary Austin of New York; his nieces, Lindsey Austin and Danielle Ghoneim (Austin); and his nephew Michael Austin.
