He was predeceased by: his sisters, Claire Boyle and Mary T. Murphy; and his sister-in-law Margaret A. Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Gibbons; his children, Robert A. Gibbons, Jr., Scott (Tina Gibbons), Christina (Vincent Rhatigan), Daniel Gibbons, Freddie (Jessica Ouellette) and Kelly Nyberg; and his brother John V. Gibbons, Jr.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
