She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Whipple and Augusta "Gussie" Whipple (Doe); her husband Joseph I "Bucky" Melanson III; her granddaughter Elizabeth Melanson; and her stepmother Marguerite Whipple.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marilyn Loud of Wolfeboro, NH and Diane Whipple of Tuftonboro, NH; her son Joseph Melanson IV (Elaine); her grandchildren, Katie Fontone (Chris) of Pensacola, FL, Andrea Melanson of Wolfeboro, NH and Joseph Melanson V (Brittany) of Dover, NH; her great grandchildren, Miles, Matthew Melanson and Asher Fontone of Pensacola, FL.; her son Timothy Melanson (Cindy) of Wolfeboro, NH; and her grandsons, Christopher Melanson and Gregory Melanson.
