She was predeceased by: her parents, Nisi Sotir and Pavlina Sotir (Theodore); her brother Thomas Sotir; and her former husband Anesti Vangel. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth (David) and David (Julie); her grandchildren, Bryce (Nicole), Christian (Katherine), Chelsea, Nicholas and Christina; and her sister-in-law Louise LaScola (Joe). She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint George Albanian Orthodox Church (523 E Broadway, Boston, MA 02127). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marian's memory to Saint George Albanian Orthodox Church in South Boston, MA or Warde Senior Living in Windham NH.
