He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Hinckley; and his son Joseph D. Hinckley. He is survived by: his wife Christine Hinckley (Casarano); his sons, Donald D. Hinckley, David J. Hinckley and Christopher J. Hinckley; his mother Dorothy Roy (Dunn); his siblings, Wayne Hinckley and Linda LeBlanc; his mother-in-law Christine M. Casarano; his brothers-in-law, John Casarano and Nicholas Casarano (Laurie); and his niece Leah.
