He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Maki (Pelton) and Sulo Maki; his son Nathan A. Maki; and his brothers, Author Maki and John Maki.
He is survived by: his children, Walter D. Maki of Keene and Martisha Williams of Oakdale, CT; his siblings, Margaret Perry of Concord, Ellen Emerson of Holice and William Maki of Winter Haven; and his grandchildren, Kayla A. Phillips, Ariana R. Gibson and Nicholas X. Willams. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended friends and family.
