He is survived by: his parents, Burton K. Merrifield and Marjorie L. Merrifield (Hill); his spouse Marjorie Merrifield (Pekkala) of Winchester; and his siblings, Kenneth M. of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Robert M., Stephen M. of Hebron, CT and Kay Leach of Manchester, CT.
