He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. Wood, Sr. and June Hazel Dear (Parker); his stepparents, Ralph Dear and Ethel "Dolly" Wood; his siblings, Melinda Dear and John Dear; his brother-in-law Myron Wheeler; and his nephew Rodney Wheeler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Wheeler of Keene, NH, Nancy Harris of Florida, Cheryl Greeley of Dublin, NH, Jimmy Dear of California and Glenn Dear of Keene, NH; his nephew Frank Wheeler (Lisa) of Winchester; and his niece Lisa Montgomery of Winchester, NH. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
