It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E. Barnes Jr. (Wilton, New Hampshire), who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Barnes, (Hunt) and William Barnes, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Kelley Shook (Dan Shook) of Litchfield, NH; his grandson Michael Shook; his children, William Barnes III (Samantha Edwards) of Salem, NH and Deborah Barnes of Alton Bay, NH.; his siblings, Michael Barnes (Cindy) of Bristol, CT, Ellen Barnes O'Hare (John O'Hare) of Wakefield, RI, Kathleen Barnes Powers (Ed Powers) and Elizabeth Barnes Casasnovas of West Hartford, CT; and his friends, Father Genest and Sarah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Bill's memory to Meals on Wheels America as Bill regularly volunteered for the organization for many years.
