He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William K. Burris and Olivia M. Burris; his spouse Suzzanne Belle Smith; and his children, William K. Burris III, John M. Burris, Tierra, James, Alexis and Logan. He was also cherished by family members include both his sons.
