He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Jean Fitton; and his brother-in-law Barry Kenney. He is survived by: his wife Christine Rivera; his son Jeremy Rivera (Mara Rivera); his granddaughter Mia Taylor Rivera of Wilmot, NH; his siblings, Hugh Rivera (Linda Catherine Rivera), Tommy Rivera (Betty Rivera) and Linda Lee Caraturo (Tony Caraturo) of Woodstock, NY; his sister-in-law Rosemary Kenney of Farmingdale, NY; his stepdaughter Julianne Burgio Long; his husband Philip Long; his stepgrandchildren, Jillian Rose, Philip and Andrew; his stepson Stephen P. Burgio; and his stepgranddaughter Luciana.
