He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Patten and Ezilda Augherton (Libbey); his son Timothy; and his brothers, Richard Patten, Harley Patten and John Patten.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Patten of Wilmot, NH and Bonnie Patten of Pittsfield, NH; his siblings, Louise Andrus of Salisbury, NH and David Patten of Springfield, NH; his close friend Joyce Rand of Wilmot, NH; his grandchildren, Troy Miller (Kristin Redden) of Wilmot, NH, Samantha Hardy of Torrington, CT and Lela Jones of Rochester, NH.; and also, Karen Hardy of New London, NH and Lynn Jones (Todd Jones) of Rochester, NH.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
