He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Beattie (Smead) and Russell Beattie; his siblings, Stanley, Patricia Claremont and Elizabeth Gaylord; his mother-in-law Theresa Wormwood (Miller); and his sister-in-law Barbara Kohl.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his sons, David Beattie (Raven) and Russell Beattie (Ana); his grandson Alex Beattie of California; his brother Ken Beattie of Tallahassee, FL; his sister-in-law Dottie Ruiz of Littleton, MA; and his close friends, Fred Bruce of Quincy, MA and Jimmey Howland of Groveton, NH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
