She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michael Matthews and Joan Mary Matthews Patty (McLaughlin); and her sister Julie Cuthbert. She is survived by: her siblings, Christopher, Damon, John and Maggie; and her nieces and nephews, Barry Matthews, Ian Cuthbert, Abigail Eisner, John Matthews III, Keoni Matthews Fr and Mark Dollard.
