As we bid Barbara Elaine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara Elaine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie E. Smith (Hill) and Robert A. Smith; her husband Elwin W. Messer; and her siblings, Kenneth Smith (Beulah), Robert Smith and Marjorie Rixford (Austin).
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Hulslander (Bruce) of Surry, NH, Sandra Messer (Dana Hill) of Leominster, MA and Edward Messer (Debra) of Franklin, NH.; and her sister-in-law Sandra Smith of Walpole, NH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
