She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary (Perlowski) and Peter Porada, Sr.; her sister-in-law Marilyn Porada of West Swanzey; her cousins, Evelyn Modzelewski, Mary Jane Lynch (John), Eugene Piurkowski (Dianne) of Rindge, NH and Cecelia Lofton (Elmer); her husband Willard Barrett; and her brother Peter Porada, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Barrett's memory to the Monadnock Humane Society, 101 West Swanzey Road, West Swanzey, NH 03446; or to the Alzheimer's Association Mass. & NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
