He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin C. Brooks and Persis C. Brooks (Dearth); his wife Emily G. Brooks (Gay); his son Vic Arthur Brooks; his siblings, Frank, Douglas, Austin, Olin Brooks, Mary Hutchins and Persis Moses; and his pets, Jackie and Hugo.
He is survived by: his children, Victor Brooks, Jr. of Reno, NV, Barry Brooks of Groton, VT, Sally Merrill of Manchester, NH, Brenda (John Fijalkowski), Vicki (Grover Libby), Diana (Alan Thoroughgood) and Helen Bittorf of Perryopolis, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
