He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Phelan; his daughters, Susan Phelan and Kathleen Cohen (Mitch); his stepchildren, Marilyn Sumrall, Linda Williams and Ronald McHaffie; and his granddaughter Amanda Cohen.
