It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia (Hight) Brown of Weare, New Hampshire, born in Concord, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald H. Hight and Dorothea Hight (Farmer); and her sister Janet Purington. She is survived by: her husband Charles Brown, Jr.; her children, Jan-Robin Brown (Bruce Carter), Jean Chapman, Jill Rice (Peter), Jeffrey Brown (Ann) and James Brown; her grandchildren, Gregory Chapman (Katie), Jeremey Chapman (Nikki), Joshua Chapman (Brielle), Kristi Martin (Alain Provost), Kelly Martin Holden, Amy Castro-Brown (Alejandro Castro), Courtney Rice (Rich Barbato), Devon Philibert (Jacob) and Morgan Rice; and her sisters, Tessie Kennedy (Robert), Carolyn Reid and Eleanor Gordon (Robert). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
