He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Bowie and Doris Bowie (Fanthorpe); his siblings, Carole (Al) and Phil; and his brothers-in-law, Ron, Jeremy and Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Bowie (Chesley); his children, Roland Jr. of Franklin, Tara Marcotte and Joseph of Tilton; his daughter-in-law Michelle of Weare; his grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Kierra, Roland III, Justin, Hunter and James; his great grandchildren, William, Sage and Mila; his siblings, Ralph, James Jr. of Maine and Jamie of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis (Mary Beth) of Ossipee, Jackie of Florida, Tammy of Barnstead and Melanie of Loudon. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Legion Post #65 in Weare, NH.
