He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Perkins and Arthur Sargent; and his stepfather Richard Perkins. He is survived by: his daughter Sara Sargent; his grandson Shayne Sargent; his caregiver Eileen Brady; his siblings, Preston Sargent (Carol), Linda Valley (Phil), Brenda Sweeney, Sheila Littlefield (Norman), Richard Perkins Jr., Peter Sargent and Mique Foote; and his stepson Gregory Hall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
